Udaipur: The Shakti Nagar Traders’ Association organised a felicitation ceremony at the Udaipur Municipal Corporation premises to welcome and honour newly elected Udaipur Municipal Corporation Mayor and Chamber of Commerce President Paras Singhvi.
Singhvi recently assumed charge as the Mayor of Udaipur Municipal Corporation. Led by Traders’ Association General Secretary Jitendra Kalra, a delegation of traders from Shakti Nagar visited the municipal corporation to congratulate him and extend their best wishes on his new responsibilities.
Senior Vice President Govardhan Rathore, along with Kamlesh Sen, Vaibhav Jain, Lokesh Pancholi, Nikhil Sahu, Yash Paliwal, Anil Vaishnav and Kailash Rathore, and other executive committee members welcomed Singhvi with garlands, a traditional turban and a memento.
Speaking on the occasion, Shakti Nagar Traders’ Association President Mukesh Madhavani said Singhvi’s position as President of the Chamber of Commerce was significant for the business community. He said positive dialogue and coordination on issues concerning traders and urban development could help promote commercial activities as well as improve civic amenities in the city.
Madhavani congratulated Singhvi on assuming the responsibility of Mayor and said the Shakti Nagar Traders’ Association would remain committed to extending constructive cooperation and maintaining dialogue on issues concerning the city’s business community.
During the felicitation ceremony, Mayor Paras Singhvi thanked all members of the Shakti Nagar Traders’ Association for the warm welcome. He assured the traders that issues concerning the business community would be heard with priority and that necessary efforts would be made towards their resolution.
The traders extended their best wishes to Singhvi for his new responsibilities and expressed their commitment to working together through cooperation and coordination for the development of Udaipur and its business community.
