Nari Shakti Conference and Dialogue Programme 2026 Held in Udaipur

Udaipur: The Nari Shakti Conference and Dialogue Programme 2026 was organised on Saturday at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Auditorium, Municipal Corporation, Udaipur, under the aegis of the Project Management Unit of the Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad (Rajeevika).

The programme was organised as part of the state-level Nari Shakti Conference and Dialogue Programme 2026, held in Jaipur at University Commerce College on JLN Marg under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

District Project Manager, Rajeevika, Manimala N., said continuous efforts were being made to connect women with group-based activities and promote their economic self-reliance. The programme aimed to create awareness among rural women about their rights, livelihood opportunities, self-reliance and social and economic empowerment.

Deputy Director, Women and Child Development Department, Nandkishore Medhwal, interacted with women participants and discussed their concerns, suggestions and future requirements. The participants expressed interest in expanding various livelihood activities and exploring new opportunities.

Rajesh Sharma, Deputy Director, Women and Child Development Department (Urban), urged women to remain aware of their rights, become self-reliant and encourage other women to move forward.

Women associated with self-help groups under Rajeevika and the Women and Child Development Department participated enthusiastically in the programme. During the interaction, participants shared their experiences and spoke about achievements made through self-help groups, including self-employment, savings, access to credit and various livelihood activities.

Officials and employees of the District Project Management Unit were also present at the programme.
