Udaipur: As in previous years, the Bengali Kali Bari Society, Hiranmagri, is once again organizing the grand celebration of Durga Puja. This year, the six-day festival will commence on 27th September 2025. Society President Dr. Dipankar Chakraborty shared that the festival has been celebrated with devotion for the past 34 years. 📅 Schedule of Rituals and Events: 27th September (Panchami): Evening Bodhan. 28th September (Shashthi): Morning Shashthi Puja, Kalpasutra, Amantran Adhivas rituals, followed by evening Aarti. 29th September (Maha Saptami): Nabapatrika Pravesh, Maha Saptami Puja, Pushpanjali, Bhog, and evening Aarti. 30th September (Maha Ashtami): Maha Ashtami Puja, Pushpanjali, Bhog, and the special Sandhi Puja at 1:21 PM, followed by evening Aarti. 1st October (Maha Navami): Mahanavami Puja, Pushpanjali, Bhog, Homa, and evening Aarti. 2nd October (Vijayadashami): Deep Darshan Visarjan, Aparajita Puja, and the traditional Sindur Khela by women, followed by an immersion procession of the idols. Each evening will feature a vibrant cultural programme, adding festive spirit to the religious celebrations.
