Udaipur, On the third day of Paryushan Parva, the Digambar Jain community organized various religious programmes at Mahavir Bhawan, Sector 14, to observe Uttam Arjava Dharma. The day began with the Abhishek and Shantidhara of Shri Ji. The sacred privilege of performing the Shantidhara was received by the Jhamak Lal Dewra family.
During his religious discourse, Pandit Ravikirti explained the significance of Uttam Arjava Dharma and said that the essence of Arjava Dharma lies in maintaining unity between one’s thoughts, speech and actions. He said that whatever a person thinks should be reflected in their words and followed through their actions and conduct. According to him, embracing simplicity, sincerity and truthfulness in life helps an individual progress towards spiritual purification.
The privilege of becoming Saudharm Indra-Indrani was received by the Jamnalal and Kamla Devi Dhataniya family. Under their guidance, worship and other religious rituals were conducted as per tradition. Members of the Jain community participated in the religious ceremonies with devotion and श्रद्धा.
As part of the Paryushan Parva celebrations, the Mahavir Jain Yuva Parishad is organizing an evening programme featuring a special play based on Jainism. Children from the Jain Pathshala are presenting the play to convey messages related to religion, values and moral conduct. The programme has generated considerable enthusiasm among community members.
Meritorious Students to be Felicitated on September 25
Trust General Secretary Bhuri Lal Jain said that a special felicitation programme for meritorious students of the community will be organized on September 25. Students who secured 75 percent or above marks during the academic session 2025-26, along with students who have obtained diplomas and degrees, will be felicitated.
He appealed to students of the community to take advantage of the opportunity. The felicitation programme aims to encourage students and promote awareness about education and a spirit of healthy competition within the community.
