Udaipur: The three-day Bal Rang Utsav, jointly organised by the West Zone Cultural Centre (WZCC), Udaipur and the North Central Zone Cultural Centre (NCZCC), Prayagraj, concluded with two engaging theatrical performances at Darpan Auditorium in Shilpgram.
On the concluding day, child artists presented two plays, ‘Yugdhara’ and ‘Ahilyabai’, winning appreciation from the audience for their acting, dialogue delivery and expressive performances.
The first presentation, ‘Yugdhara’, impressed the audience with its storyline and the confident performances of the young actors. The second play, ‘Ahilyabai’, was presented by students of Shiksha Sadan School. Inspired by the life and personality of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar, whose story is included in the Class 6 curriculum, the play highlighted her life, struggles, leadership qualities, courage and contributions to society.
Through both productions, the children brought history, culture and social values to life on stage, demonstrating their creativity and understanding through theatre.
Programme Officer Manoj Kumar and Programme Executive Rakesh Mehta from the cultural centre were also present on the occasion.
