Udaipur: Around 900 people participated in the 10th edition of ‘Walk by the Lake-2026’, organised by Positive Charge at Fatehsagar’s Swayambhu Point on Rani Road, with the support of Tempsons and Pyrosons. The 6-km run was organised from Swayambhu Point to Mahakal Temple with the message of promoting health and environmental conservation.
The winners of the event were felicitated with medals, cash prizes, certificates and saplings.
V.P. Rathi, Director of Positive Charge, said that the event was started ten years ago with a small group of people with the objective of promoting environmental conservation in the city and encouraging people to take better care of their health. The event has now successfully entered its tenth year.
Sonal Rathi said that ‘Walk by the Lake’ has now become a healthy habit for many people. She emphasised that everyone should dedicate at least one hour every day to their health. “No company runs only because of its products; it runs because of the people who work in it,” she said.
She added that next year, the organisers would encourage every participant to bring at least one more person along so that the message of environmental conservation and healthy living can reach an even wider section of society.
