Conclusion of Social Welfare Week Coincides with Disability Welfare Day

Udaipur . The Social Justice and Empowerment Department concluded Social Welfare Week with the celebration of Disability Welfare Day. The program was attended by Chief Guest Additional District and Sessions Judge Kuldeep Sharma and Special Guest Social Security Officer Harshit Pancholi, with Joint Director of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Girish Bhatnagar, presiding over the event.

Chief Guest Sharma highlighted the legal rights and entitlements of persons with disabilities, encouraging them to take advantage of the government's welfare schemes. Joint Director Bhatnagar provided information on processes for obtaining disability certificates, social security pensions, the special marriage scheme for persons with disabilities, and the special loan scheme. The guests distributed assistive devices such as wheelchairs, calipers, and walkers to selected individuals with disabilities.

Rakesh Sharma expressed gratitude at the event, which also saw contributions from Santosh Menaria, Hitesh Pawar, and Anil Kumar. Prior to the event, Joint Director Bhatnagar inspected the special school operated by the Narayan Seva Sansthan in Badi and provided necessary guidance and directives.
