Renowned Singer Ronkini Gupta to Grace Udaipur's "Ritu Basant Utsav"

Ronkini Gupta, the acclaimed singer known for her mesmerizing voice in Bollywood, is set to enchant the audience at the "Ritu Basant Utsav" in Shilpgram. With numerous Bollywood hits and recognition in classical music, Ronkini has made a mark as a versatile artist. The event, starting on Friday, will not only elevate the ambiance of Shilpgram with classical music but also create everlasting memories for the audience.

Ronkini Gupta has lent her beautiful voice to several popular Bollywood songs and has received accolades for her performances. From the Sawai Gandharva Mahotsav to the Lata Mangeshkar Award, she has earned recognition for her contribution to the world of music. Her achievements include winning the prestigious Dovarlen Music National Merit Award and being the winner of the 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' series on the 'Zee' channel.

The director of the center, Furqan Khan, praised Ronkini Gupta for her extraordinary talent in classical singing, blending pure classical and Bollywood music seamlessly. He highlighted her unique ability to mold and express her musicality in the field of singing.

Ronkini Gupta's association with Bollywood is not only limited to playback singing but also includes nominations for three Filmfare Awards. Her notable contributions include songs like 'Rafu' from the movie 'Tumhari Sulu' and 'Chaav Laga' from 'Sui Dhaaga.' In 2020, she received the Zee Talkies-Maharashtra Best Singer Award for the song 'Tula Jhapnar Aahe.' Recently, she was honored with the 'Swara Kokila Lata Mangeshkar Award' in 2023.

Even the Oscar-winning music composer A.R. Rahman has expressed his admiration for Ronkini Gupta's voice, declaring her as one of his favorite classical singers.

Apart from Ronkini Gupta's performance, the event will also feature a Kathak dance presentation by Dr. Aarti Singh and group. Dr. Aarti Singh, a renowned Kathak dancer and professor at Kamala Nehru College of Music in Raipur, has showcased her mesmerizing dance performances at various prestigious events across the country.

The "Ritu Basant Utsav" promises to be a spectacular three-day event, offering the audience a unique combination of classical singing, instrumental duets by renowned musicians, and a world-class dance presentation. Admission for the general public is free, and the event will commence at 6:30 PM on each day at the Muktkashi stage in Shilpgram.

The event is curated with precision, featuring classical singing on the first day, followed by instrumental duets by three eminent musicians on the second day, and concluding with an instrumental duet of sarod-sitar and a world-class dance tribute on the third day. The "Ritu Basant Utsav" is anticipated to be a symbol of unparalleled curation and artistic brilliance.
