Indore, SAGE University Indore successfully concluded the Student’s Research Conclave 2026 on September 23, bringing together students, scholars, researchers and distinguished experts to promote research, innovation and knowledge exchange.
Organised around the theme “From Lab to Life and Policy to Practice,” the conclave provided a platform for young researchers to showcase their research, exchange ideas and explore the practical applications of academic research in addressing real-world challenges.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with 576 participants, including undergraduate and postgraduate students, Ph.D. scholars and young researchers from SAGE University and other institutions.
The conclave was graced by distinguished experts from academia, scientific research and intellectual property, including Dr. Abhay Kumar Vyas, Former Vice-Chancellor of Agriculture University, Kota, and Former Assistant Director General (ADG) of ICAR; Dr. Manoj Kumar, Head, Laser Surface, Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), Indore; Dr. B. Prathap Reddy of IIT Indore; and Ms. Monica Garg, Partner at Aksh IP Associates, Noida.
The experts shared their knowledge and perspectives on research, scientific innovation, technology development and intellectual property, encouraging participants to connect academic inquiry with practical applications and broader societal needs.
The conclave highlighted the growing enthusiasm among students and young scholars for research and innovation, while providing opportunities for interdisciplinary interaction, expert guidance and collaboration.
With participation from multiple academic institutions and diverse research backgrounds, Student’s Research Conclave 2026 marked an important platform for nurturing research capabilities and encouraging young researchers to translate their ideas into meaningful real-world outcomes.
