Udaipur: Udaipur’s young chess talents once again brought glory to the district at the Rajasthan State Sub-Junior Chess Championship–2025, held in Alwar.
In the Under-15 Sub-Junior Open category, Udaipur’s promising player Rishan Jain delivered a spectacular performance, scoring 6.5 points out of 7 rounds to clinch the title of State Champion. In the Sub-Junior Girls category, Udaipur’s emerging talent Advika Sarupriya also impressed with a strong performance, scoring 6.5 points to secure the runner-up position.
The Udaipur District Chess Association congratulated both players, highlighting that Rishan and Advika have once again proven that Udaipur is a hub of chess talent. Both players will now represent Rajasthan at the National Sub-Junior Championship, scheduled to be held in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, starting 2nd November 2025.
