Sanjay Bhushan Kushwaha, National Spokesperson for the Sanyukt Vikas Party (SNVP) representing the Meja Assembly constituency (259), has intensified his public outreach campaign ahead of the upcoming 2027 Assembly elections. While meeting farmers across various villages in Meja—including Sirsa, Meja Khas, Uruwa, and the Karchhana border area—he remarked that Meja still yearns for basic amenities. "Our Meja relies on agriculture, yet farmers lack timely access to water and fair prices for their crops. Borewells have failed, canals are dry, and farmers are being exploited at the mandis (markets)," he stated. Sanjay Bhushan Kushwaha outlined his 5-point development model: 1. Guaranteed MSP for Farmers: Procurement centers in every block and a system ensuring payment for paddy and wheat within 72 hours. 2. Water for Every Farm: Revitalization of defunct canals and a solar-powered borewell scheme. 3. Healthcare and Roads in Meja: Repair of damaged roads and the establishment of health centers at every Nyaya Panchayat level. 4. Employment for Youth: Plans to set up skill development centers and link youth with local industries. 5. Educational Reform: Digital classrooms in government schools and a free bicycle scheme for female students. He declared, "I am a son of Meja, not a politician. I am not making mere promises; I am offering a guarantee. My slogan is clear: Meja must change for Prayagraj to change."
