Udaipur: Anjuman-e-Niswan, the women’s organisation of Anjuman Taleemul Islam, organised the awards ceremony for its second Hunar Mehndi Course. Participants from all batches across the organisation’s three centres took part in the final Mehndi Art competition, where those who delivered outstanding performances were honoured.
Sadar Mukhtar Raishi, Secretary Mustafa Sheikh, Joint Secretary Izhar Hussain, social worker Jabir Hussain, and members of the Anjuman-e-Niswan committee encouraged the participants and trainers during the programme. Trainers Khushnur, Saba, Tanvi, Sania, Zeenat, Afshin, Afreen, Shaheen and Sahima were also appreciated for their contribution and efforts.
On the occasion, newly elected councillors Rukhsar Khan, Hina Kausar, Meena Bano, Hidayatullah and Sajid Khan were also felicitated.
Coordinator Anees Abbasi said that the organisation will soon start six permanent tailoring centres. These centres will provide women with opportunities to learn vocational skills and work towards becoming self-reliant.
