Ananta Medical College Holds White Coat Ceremony for 2026-27 Batch

Rajsamand,  Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre organised a White Coat Ceremony and orientation programme for newly admitted MBBS students of the 2026-27 academic session, marking the beginning of their journey into the medical profession.

The ceremony was held in a dignified atmosphere, with students formally presented with white coats, symbolising their commitment to healthcare, professional ethics and service to humanity.

Executive Director Dr Nitin Sharma said the programme was organised to familiarise new students with the responsibilities, values and ethical principles associated with the medical profession.

Addressing the gathering, Narayan Singh Rao, chairman of Ananta Charitable Educational Society, said the white coat was not merely a uniform but a symbol of patients' trust, compassion, dedication and responsibility towards society. He urged students to uphold the dignity of the medical profession, treat patients with sensitivity and compassion, and remain committed to ethical practices and lifelong learning.

He emphasised that becoming a good doctor requires more than academic knowledge and technical skills. Empathy, patience, integrity and a strong sense of responsibility are equally important in delivering quality healthcare.

Earlier, Principal Dr Sanjay Gupta and Medical Superintendent Dr Anjali Gupta highlighted various aspects of medical education and the importance of combining professional competence with humanitarian values. They encouraged students to maintain discipline, develop clinical skills and place patients' interests at the centre of their professional responsibilities.

As part of the ceremony, the newly admitted students took the Maharishi Charaka Oath, pledging to uphold the ethical principles of medical practice and remain dedicated to patient welfare and the service of humanity.

Chief Finance Controller Naresh Khaturia, CAO Dr S.K. Gautam, Administrative Officer Dr Daksh Sharma and senior doctors of Ananta Hospital were also present.

The programme concluded with the National Anthem and National Song.
