Udaipur: Flipkart, India's leading e-commerce marketplace, has partnered with the Uttar Pradesh government's 'One District, One Product' (ODOP) program to showcase the state's cultural heritage at the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025. The Maha Kumbh Mela, taking place from January 13 to February 26 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, is the world's largest religious event. Held every 12 years, this unique confluence of spirituality, astronomy, and rich cultural traditions has attracted millions of people worldwide. Flipkart is displaying the ODOP initiative along with other cultural efforts through dedicated booths and stalls at the event.

Shri K. Vijayendra Pandian (IAS), Commissioner and Director of the Directorate of Industries, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, said, "The ODOP initiative by the Uttar Pradesh government is a testament to our commitment to promoting local crafts and creating sustainable livelihoods. Our partnership with Flipkart will help artisans and entrepreneurs reach national customers through a strong digital platform. This collaboration also demonstrates the Uttar Pradesh government's commitment to preserving its rich cultural heritage while accelerating economic development and innovation."

Rajnish Kumar, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Flipkart Group, said, "As a domestic company, Flipkart is fully committed to celebrating and promoting India's rich cultural heritage. Through our partnership with the Uttar Pradesh ODOP program, we have empowered local artisans and MSMEs to expand their businesses and connect with customers nationwide. The Maha Kumbh Mela provides a unique platform to showcase these products to customers across the country and around the world."
