Pankaj Kumar Sharma's Attack on BJP Government's Decision to Close Schools

Pankaj Kumar Sharma, General Secretary and Spokesperson of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, strongly criticized the BJP government's decision to close 259 government schools. He termed it a serious move against the right to education and social justice. Sharma said that this decision is a conspiracy to deprive children from poor and marginalized communities of education.

Sharma stated, "The BJP government's policy is clearly an attempt to weaken education. By closing schools, the government is pretending to improve education, while in reality, this is a step towards crushing the dreams of children from poor and backward classes. It reflects the government's indifference towards the education system."

He further added that rural areas already lack educational facilities. Closing schools will not only affect the children's education but also worsen the situation for the most vulnerable sections of society. He emphasized, "To improve education, there is a need for increased resources and recruitment of teachers, not the closure of schools."

Sharma criticized the BJP government's education policy, stating that government schools are being closed to promote the privatization of education. He said, "The BJP government is merely pretending to reform education in selected areas, while schools for needy children are being shut down. This policy is insensitive and undemocratic."

Sharma urged the government to take concrete steps to make education more accessible and better, instead of closing schools.
