Udaipur: More than 120 posters were presented at a national multidisciplinary online poster presentation competition organised by Bhupal Nobles College of Pharmacy, Bhupal Nobles University, in collaboration with the Rajasthan Branch of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI). The theme of the competition was “Emerging Technologies Transforming Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Sciences.”
College Principal Dr. Pushpendra Singh Naruka and Organising Secretary Dr. Anju Goyal said that more than 120 posters were received from participants across the country. In view of the enthusiastic response, the pre-presentation round was conducted in three sessions on September 23, 2026. Dr. Meenakshi Bharkatiya, Dr. Rajat Vaishnav and Dr. Alok Bhargava served as judges for the preliminary round.
A total of 22 participants shortlisted from the preliminary round presented their posters in the final round held on September 24. The final presentations were evaluated by expert judges Dr. Anshu Sharma and Dr. Monika Maheshwari. Participants were assessed on poster design, title, relevance of the topic, presentation skills and their responses during the question-and-answer session.
The competition covered emerging areas including Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital healthcare, smart drug manufacturing, quality assurance and biotechnology. The potential applications and challenges of AI in healthcare and pharmaceutical sciences were also discussed. Participants highlighted the benefits of AI in assisting disease identification, accelerating drug research, analysing large datasets and supporting personalised treatment decisions. At the same time, concerns related to patient data privacy, biased or inaccurate results and excessive dependence on technology were discussed.
The presentations also emphasised the need for responsible use of AI, scientific validation, human expertise and appropriate oversight while integrating emerging technologies into healthcare.
Sneha Dineshchandra Silori secured the first position and received a cash prize of ₹3,000, while Dr. Deshbandhu Joshi won second place with a cash prize of ₹2,000. Rakshit Tripathi secured third place and received ₹1,000. The winners were also awarded trophies and certificates.
In the special categories, Mohini Ravindra Kulkarni was selected for Best Poster, Khushi Baheti for Best Presenter and Parth Dashora for Best Title. Each special award carried a cash prize of ₹500 along with a certificate.
During the concluding online felicitation ceremony, the winners were honoured in the gracious presence of their parents. Their participation added a special dimension to the achievement and made the occasion memorable for the winners and their families.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Colonel Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Acting President of Vidya Pracharini; Dr. Mahendra Singh Rathore, Minister; Mohabbat Singh Rathore, Managing Director; Dr. Chetan Singh Chouhan, President, Bhupal Nobles University; and Dr. Y.S. Sarangdevot, Dean, Bhupal Nobles College of Pharmacy.
Under the leadership of Principal Dr. Pushpendra Singh Naruka and Organising Secretary Dr. Anju Goyal, the event was coordinated and conducted by co-coordinators Dr. Shazia Yasmin and Ms. Aparna Arora.
The competition provided a national platform for students, research scholars and faculty members from diverse disciplines to exchange ideas and perspectives on the scientific, practical and ethical dimensions of emerging technologies in healthcare and pharmaceutical sciences.
