Udaipur: The Udaipur chapter of the sixth season of the Global Health and Wellness Festival, organised by Just Health and Wellness (JHW), concluded successfully after two days of events focused on health awareness, preventive care and strengthening the healthcare ecosystem.
More than 1,500 citizens, doctors and healthcare professionals participated in the festival, which also saw JHW set its ninth world record.
More Than 120 Honoured at ‘Health’s Real Heroes’ Awards
The festival opened with the Health’s Real Heroes Awards at Sterling Aravalli. BCI founder Mukesh Madhvani said around 50 doctors, 50 health insurance advisers and more than 20 entrepreneurs were honoured for their contribution to healthcare services, financial protection and social impact.
Former Minister Rajendra Singh Rathore Inaugurates Public Health Festival
The main public health festival at Ashoka Greens was inaugurated by former Rajasthan minister Rajendra Singh Rathore. Highlighting the importance of preventive healthcare, Rathore himself underwent a body and health assessment at the venue.
He appreciated the initiative and suggested that it could be expanded on a larger scale with government support.
Free Mammography Coupons Distributed to Women
JHW founder and CEO Himmat Singh Nathawat said more than 1,500 people benefited from health screenings, expert consultations and awareness sessions during the festival.
As part of the focus on women’s health, more than 100 free mammography coupons were distributed to encourage timely screening for breast cancer.
JHW Sets Ninth World Record, Targets 100 by 2030
A key highlight of the festival was the ninth world record set by JHW in collaboration with Go Maya.
Nathawat said JHW was not merely organising an event but building a people’s movement aimed at bringing healthcare, insurance, business and society onto a common platform.
He said the organisation has set an ambitious target of achieving 100 world records by 2030, with a focus on creating measurable positive social and health impact.
Partners Support Health and Wellness Initiative
The festival received support from Paras Health as medical support partner, Care Health Insurance and Protect Insurance for health protection and awareness, and Sterling Aravalli as hospitality partner.
The partnership with Business Circle International (BCI) also helped connect the local business community with the health and wellness initiative.
The successful organisation of the festival was supported by a team including Mukesh Madhvani, Anubhav Sukhwani, Rohan Indulkar, Rahul Pachori, R.K. Vyas, Ajay Agrawal, Bhupendra Singh, Ajay Sharma, Sitaram Gupta and Raja Mukim, along with doctors, advisers and volunteers.
