Two-day Udaipur Health Festival to begin Saturday

UDAIPUR, A two-day health and wellness festival aimed at promoting preventive healthcare, health awareness and healthy lifestyles will begin Saturday in Udaipur.

The second edition of the Udaipur Health Festival is being organised jointly by Just Health and Wellness and Business Circle International. The opening ceremony will be held at Sterling Aravalli on Saturday, followed by the main public event at Ashoka Greens on Sunday.

BCI founder Mukesh Madhavani said the first day will feature the “Real Heroes of Health” awards and a dinner to recognise contributions in healthcare, health insurance and business.

Organisers said about 40 doctors from Udaipur, nearly 40 health insurance professionals from Rajasthan and more than 20 prominent business leaders will be honoured.

Udaipur Mayor Paras Singhvi will be the chief guest. Other guests are expected to include Paras Health facility director Anubhav Sukhwani, Indian Medical Association Rajasthan President Dr. Anand Gupta, Dr. Vipin Rawat, Dr. Vaishali of Paras Health, Manish Menaria, Care Health Insurance regional head Rahul Pachauri, BCI founder Mukesh Madhavani, Rohan Indulkar of Protect General Insurance and representatives of Sterling Aravalli.

Main public event on Sunday

The main public programme will be held Sunday at Ashoka Greens, where organisers expect about 2,000 people to attend.

The event will focus on awareness, prevention and healthy living. More than 20 medical specialists from Paras Health will provide free outpatient consultations.

Subject to medical need and a doctor's recommendation, visitors will also have access to diagnostic facilities, including 2-D echocardiography, ultrasound, bone-density testing, magnetic resonance imaging and breast screening.

Organiser Himmat Singh said the programme will also include health talks, yoga and healthy-lifestyle sessions, a health exhibition and public awareness activities.

Experts will interact with visitors on women's health, fitness, nutrition, hospital services and health insurance.

The organisers said the festival aims to encourage people to focus on preventive healthcare rather than seeking treatment only after falling ill. The programme will promote timely health checkups, accurate health information, balanced nutrition, regular exercise and disease prevention.

Just Health and Wellness and BCI have invited residents to attend the Sunday event with their families and make use of the free consultations, screening services and awareness activities.
