Udaipur: Students of CPS delivered an impressive performance at the U-14 District-Level Swimming Championship, securing top positions across various swimming events and bringing laurels to the school.
The championship was held at Viti International School from September 20 to 23, with young swimmers competing in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, individual medley and relay events.
CPS swimmer Himank Malviya emerged as one of the standout performers, securing first position in the 50m, 100m and 200m backstroke events. He also helped the team secure first position in the 4x100m medley relay, emerging as a champion.
Dron Joshi secured second position in the 4x100m freestyle relay. Nihan Sindhal won second position in the 100m backstroke, third position in the 200m backstroke, and secured second positions in the 200m individual medley and relay events.
Manthan Kumawat secured second positions in the 100m and 200m butterfly events and also contributed to first-place finishes in the 200m individual medley and medley relay.
Sanyam Meena secured second position in the 200m backstroke, along with second-place finishes in the 50m and 100m breaststroke events. He also helped the school team secure first position in the 4x100m medley relay.
Granth Soni secured second and first positions in the 100m and 200m freestyle events, respectively, and also participated in the 50m butterfly and 4x100m relay events.
Kartavya Soni secured second position in the 200m breaststroke event.
The school management and faculty congratulated all the participating students and their coach, Rakesh Dadhich, for their commendable performance. They also extended their best wishes to the swimmers for their upcoming competitions.
