Udaipur: BCI Yuva Investor Connect 2026 was organised at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur to strengthen Rajasthan’s startup and investor ecosystem, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts from across the country.
Startups presented their business models, innovations and future expansion plans before investors and industry representatives. Geetanjali Group Chief Financial Officer and Chartered Accountant Roshan Jain served as a jury member, evaluating startup presentations and participating in discussions on business models, growth prospects and investment opportunities.
Around 350 startups from across India registered for the event, while nearly 200 participants attended in person. Entrepreneurs from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Delhi, Noida, Jaipur and Udaipur were among those who presented their ventures.
As a member of the jury, Jain assessed business models, financial viability, growth potential and funding requirements. His experience in finance and corporate management provided an expert perspective during discussions on business plans and investment needs.
Investors, corporate leaders, chartered accountants, finance professionals, industry representatives and startup mentors from India and abroad participated in the programme.
Among those present were Meghna Dixit of Mewan Consultancy, Dubai; CA Vaishali Khetan, CFO of Khetan Group; Anil Kumar Tulsidas, director of strategic management; Mayank Agarwal, CEO of IAN; Wing Commander Dr Praveen Thapar; Manish Paliwal, founder of Bio Core; Mukesh Kumar; Brijesh Hirat; Narayan Gurjar; and Hemendra Telsara of IIM Udaipur. Anand Gupta, director of Aravali Group of Hospitals, attended as a special guest.
Startups including Bihar Brand, Loopa Burg, Finonest, M Wellness Bazaar, Grow Part, Indevotion, Hourly Hotel Deal and Exam A presented their business models and future plans.
Following the presentations, participants discussed potential funding opportunities and the due diligence process for further investment consideration.
BCI plans nationwide expansion
BCI Chairman Mukesh Madhavani outlined plans to expand the organisation’s network across the country. He said the initiative aims to bring more investors, startups and industry experts onto a common platform to create opportunities for investment, mentorship and business development.
Building Udaipur’s startup ecosystem
BCI Yuva President and Aarambh Director Meenakshi Paliwal highlighted ongoing efforts to develop a stronger startup ecosystem in Udaipur.
She said Aarambh aims to support startups from their initial stages through investment and business expansion by providing access to networks, mentorship and opportunities.
According to the organisers, the registration of 350 startups and participation of nearly 200 attendees reflected the growing demand for platforms that facilitate interaction and networking between entrepreneurs and investors.
The event brought startups, investors and experts together to explore business collaborations and potential investment opportunities. Jain’s participation on the jury added a financial and investment perspective to the evaluation of startup ventures.
The organisers said they plan to expand the network across Rajasthan and other states, with the objective of developing Udaipur into an active hub for startups and investment.
