Kherwara: A school-level science fair was organised at Vidya Niketan, Kherwara, where 405 students from Classes 3 to 10 showcased their creativity and academic skills through innovative Mathematics and Science models.
The fair was inaugurated by Kalulal Chobisa, District Secretary of Vidya Bharati Sansthan, Udaipur, and Malti Nagda, Vice-Principal of Government Girls Senior Secondary School. The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before Maa Sharde.
Science in-charge Mukesh Bharada said that 275 students from Classes 3 to 10 prepared Mathematics and Science models. In addition, 130 students of Shishuvatika, under the guidance of in-charge Gayatri Vyas and Sheela Parmar, also prepared models.
Monika Damor, Garima Kalal and Jagdish Meena served as judges for the Mathematics and Science model competition. Principal Navneet Shrimali introduced the guests, while Rama Paneri and Nisha Vyas welcomed them with tilak and traditional oparana.
The programme was conducted by Hansa Parmar, while Harish Jain proposed the vote of thanks. A poster was also unveiled to mark 150 years of the national song 'Vande Mataram'.
The science fair received support from school faculty members Dilip Mehta, Bansilal Meghwal, Krishna Meena, Vimal Meena, Sangeeta, Mamta, Aastha and Tina Didi.
