NeonRatri 5.0 Blends Garba Grandeur with a Mission for Education

Udaipur: The vibrant beats of Garba and Dandiya came together with a meaningful social cause at NeonRatri 5.0, a grand festive celebration organised by Mewar Round Table 349 at Solitaire Garden. More than 1,200 people participated enthusiastically in the event, celebrating the spirit of Navratri and devotion to Goddess Durga while supporting an initiative aimed at improving educational infrastructure.

The highlight of the evening was the organisation’s effort to channel the festive celebrations towards education. Funds were mobilised to support the construction of six classrooms at Mahatma Gandhi Government English Medium School in Bhutala, with the project estimated to cost approximately ₹55 lakh.

The event was attended by Udaipur Municipal Corporation Mayor Paras Singhvi, District Collector Gaurav Agrawal, former DIG Rajendra Prasad Goyal, Additional Superintendents of Police Umesh Ojha and Brijesh Soni, along with several prominent citizens.

Ravi Mundra, Chairman of Mewar Round Table 349, and Naman Patidar, Secretary, said NeonRatri was more than a cultural celebration; it was an opportunity to fulfil social responsibilities. They emphasised that the initiative seeks to provide students with better educational facilities through the construction of additional classrooms.

Fundraising conveners Sumit Gattani, Sahil Navlakha and Kunal Khamesra said the objective was to combine community participation and cultural festivities with meaningful change in education. The initiative aims to mobilise public support to create improved learning spaces and contribute to students’ future prospects.

The event received significant support from sponsors and partners, including Mundra Realty, Shrinath Tent, Hike, Stonex, Nexithon, JK Marble, House of Karigari, BRB Jewels, Discovery Tours, Shivam Opticals, Brandski, Raj Caterers and Eventico, among others.

Members of Mewar Round Table 349 expressed gratitude to the guests, sponsors, partners and participants for their contribution to the event’s success.

NeonRatri 5.0 demonstrated how cultural celebrations can become a platform for community service. Alongside the energy of Garba and Dandiya, the event carried a lasting message: collective efforts towards education can help build better opportunities and a brighter future for children.
