In a significant decision taken during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Rajasthan Ratnakar—an organization long active in promoting Rajasthan's art, culture, and social service, as well as serving the expatriate Rajasthani community—it was unanimously decided to appoint Rajendra Gupta as the organization's Chairman for life. This decision reflects confidence in Rajendra Gupta's long-standing contributions, leadership, and commitment to social causes. Organization President Sumit Gupta stated that during the AGM, office bearers and members emphasized making upcoming programs more extensive and impactful. The meeting also outlined the organization's future activities and the schedule of events for the year. Rajasthan Ratnakar will once again host a grand Diwali Milan celebration on October 31 and November 1, 2026, near the Netaji Subhash Place Metro Station in Pitampura, Delhi. This major annual event will see the participation of a large number of people from the Rajasthani community and Delhi at large, including social activists, entrepreneurs, and eminent citizens from various fields. *Organization's Delegation Meets Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta* A delegation from the organization recently met Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, under the guidance of former organization presidents Ramesh Kanodia and Shankarlal Jaipuria, to discuss preparations for the Diwali Milan celebrations. The delegation briefed the Chief Minister about the event and requested her support for the occasion. The Chief Minister assured support for the organization's program. *Annual Function on December 20* In accordance with the schedule finalized at the AGM, the annual function of 'Rajasthan Ratnakar' will be held on December 20. During the event, prominent figures who have made significant contributions to fields such as social service, art, culture, education, industry, and literature will be honored. Additionally, the organization will host a family picnic on the first Sunday of January to welcome the New Year, 2027. The organization's objective extends beyond mere social interaction; it is committed to conducting social service initiatives, cultural activities, and programs beneficial to society throughout the year. It is noteworthy that Rajasthan Ratnakar was established in 1974. For the past five decades, the organization has played an active role in uniting people from Rajasthan residing in Delhi and other parts of the country, while also strengthening the state's culture, traditions, and social causes.
