Efforts of Narayan Seva for Divine Service of Differently-Abled Individuals Commendable: Minister Prabhakar

Udaipur: Narayan Seva Sansthan, Udaipur, organized a free artificial limb check-up and selection camp, along with measurements for prosthetics and calipers, on Sunday at Eden Garden, King Koti, Hyderabad. The inauguration was done by the Transport Minister of Telangana State, Honorable Ponnam Prabhakar, and the Chief Guest, Mrs. Nandini Mallu, the wife of the Deputy Chief Minister. The event saw the lighting of the ceremonial lamp to mark the commencement.

Addressing the differently-abled, their families, and esteemed members of Hyderabad, Minister Prabhakar praised the work of Narayan Seva Sansthan in the field of disability. He expressed his admiration for the service rendered to differently-abled individuals and pledged assistance in every possible way. He announced support for the cause of differently-abled individuals and declared that all necessary help will be provided. Mrs. Nandini Mallu, the chief guest, expressed her happiness at meeting differently-abled individuals and pledged to contribute to their service and the organization. She also assured her active participation in the initiatives of the Hyderabad branch.

At the beginning of the event, the Director and Trustee of Narayan Seva Sansthan, Devendra Choubisa, welcomed Minister Prabhakar with traditional attire, pagdi (turban), and shawl. Former President Uttam Damorani delivered a welcome speech. Alka Choudhary, the coordinator of the Hyderabad branch, presented an overview of the branch's services.

The event included a briefing by the institution's guardian and Go Sevak, Jasmat Bhai Patel, about the 39 years of service by Narayan Seva in the field of disability. Social worker Riddhesh Jagirdar, the advisory of the Hyderabad branch and ashram in-charge Mahendra Singh, provided information about the services and gave a tour of the campsite to the distinguished guests.

Coordinator Narendra Singh informed that the camp, which started at 8 AM, continued until late at night. Over 1500 differently-abled individuals were registered, with 150 selected for surgery, 850 for Narayan artificial limbs, and measurements taken for calipers. The selected individuals will receive high-quality modular prosthetics in about two months, with further details to be provided later.

Bhagwan Prasad Gaur, the PRO of the institution, informed that participants came from various districts in Telangana, covering a distance of more than 350 kilometers. A significant number of children and youth were among the participants. The institution provided free tea, breakfast, and meals to all differently-abled individuals and their families.

Devendra Choubisa, the Trustee Director, expressed gratitude and mentioned that 35 members, including doctors and technical teams, provided services at the camp. The camp was organized under the guidance of Hariprasad Laddha, Rakesh Sharma, and coordinator Aishwary Trivedi.
