India's Renaissance on the Global Stage Through 'Indianness' in Action: Union Minister Bhupender Yadav

Delhi: Speaking at the opening session of the two-day International Seminar on "India's Renaissance on the Global Platform" at the Dr. Ambedkar International Center, Shri Bhupender Yadav, Honorable Union Minister (Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Labour and Employment), highlighted India's emergence as a global leader through the lens of 'Indianness' in action. The Central Minister shed light on the necessity of extensive research in various fields to strengthen India's position globally and emphasized the country's progress in becoming one of the strongest economies worldwide.

Organized by the All India National Educational Federation at the Dr. Ambedkar International Center in New Delhi on February 25 and 26, 2024, the conference aimed to discuss and analyze the theme of "India's Renaissance on the Global Platform." After addressing the esteemed gathering, Union Minister Bhupender Yadav emphasized the need for active participation in research efforts and invited contributions to research initiatives aligned with the ethos expressed in the slogan, "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan," which has now evolved to include 'Jai Anusandhan' (Hail Research).

Yadav illustrated the achievements and goals of developed India across various government initiatives. The conference witnessed enthusiastic participation from representatives of several countries, showcasing a collective commitment to advancing India's global stature. Delegates presented their research papers, engaging in lively discussions covering aspects such as economic and social development, health, fundamental infrastructure, foreign policy, and cultural influence, among others.

Professor J.P. Singhal, the National President, addressed the assembly, discussing India's vital role as the world's youngest nation and the transformative capacity embedded in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Additionally, Dr. Narayan Lal Gupta provided context and background in his address. The conference saw the participation of university chancellors and directors from various institutions worldwide, and the event was chaired by Prof. Geeta Bhatt from DU.
