Run the Mile, Walk with Style: Thousands of Children and Parents Join Motion's Walk-O-Run

Kota, A vibrant scene unfolded on Sunday morning at Kota’s Indraprastha Industrial Area, particularly near Dakaniya Railway Station, where students and parents gathered at the Drona-2 Campus of Motion Education for the “Run the Mile, Walk with Style – Walk-O-Run” event. Organized by the Foundation Division of Motion Education, the event witnessed the participation of thousands of children alongside their parents, celebrating health, happiness, and fitness as essential aspects of life.

Special Zumba and DJ Concert Kick Off

Founder and CEO Nitin Vijay shared that the event commenced with an energetic Zumba session followed by a lively DJ concert. Children and parents alike danced joyfully, setting a high-spirited tone for the morning. As the first rays of the sun illuminated the area, the marathon began with great enthusiasm, further boosted by motivational music and patriotic songs played at various points along the route.

Marathon Held in Three Categories

Dr. Swati Vijay, Director of Motion Education, informed that the marathon was divided into three categories:

1.5 km race for children aged 7 to 9 years,

3 km race for children aged 10 to 12 years, and

5 km race for participants aged 13 to 15 years.

All participants received T-shirts, backpacks, refreshments, and e-certificates for their participation. The event was graced by Motion Education Chairman Surendra Vijay, Director Sushila Vijay, and Foundation Division Academic Head Mukesh Gaur.

Honoring the Winners

The race commenced with the flag-off ceremony led by Founder and CEO Nitin Vijay. Winners were honored at the finish line:

In the youngest category, Mitansh Jain, Vansh Paralia, Virat Singh, and Tanish emerged victorious.

In the 10–12 years category, Keshav Malav, Deeksha, and Mrinal stood out.

Among the 13–15 years participants, Hitik Singh, Jeevesh Singh, and Anukrant Singh secured top positions.

Winners received trophies and mementos, while other participants were awarded medals for their spirited efforts.

Spreading the Message of Health Awareness

Speaking on the occasion, promotional partner Dr. Vipul Khandelwal from Kota Heart Group emphasized the importance of rising early, highlighting its benefits for both physical fitness and internal energy. He encouraged everyone to incorporate morning health activities into their family routines to promote a healthier lifestyle.
