Three-Day Workshop on Research Methodology Concludes
A three-day workshop on Research Methodology was successfully organized under the auspices of the IQAC and the Faculty of Management, Pacific University. The objective was to inspire students towards research and to equip them with essential techniques for conducting high-quality studies.
During the inaugural session, Dean Prof. Dipin Mathur emphasized that a proper understanding of the research process is crucial for quality research. He stated that this workshop would help students execute their research projects accurately and systematically. It would also assist scholars in simplifying the research process and working with scientific temper and confidence.
Workshop Coordinator Dr. Pushpakant Shakdwipee informed that on the first day, Prof. (Retd.) N.K. Dashora from B.N. College elaborated on research frameworks, hypothesis development, and various uses of statistical analysis.
On the second day, Dr. Shilpa Lodha from Mohanlal Sukhadia University discussed parametric and non-parametric tests. On the final day, Dr. Pushpakant Shakdwipee detailed different aspects of research report writing, covering the review of literature, data presentation, and the presentation of results and conclusions.
Students' participation was actively encouraged through practical exercises and group discussions. On the concluding day, Dr. Pallavi Mehta, Director of IQAC, expressed gratitude to both students and trainers. She highlighted the growing relevance of research and strongly advocated for organizing more such workshops in upcoming academic sessions.
A total of fifty-seven students participated in the workshop.
