Bhilwara : A one-day workshop focused on Research and Project Development was organized for faculty members at Sangam University, Bhilwara. In this special workshop, Dr. Ajay Kumar Gupta, former Director and Senior Advisor of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi, provided valuable guidance to the participants.
Faculty members from various schools of the university—School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Management, School of Law, and School of Basic Sciences and Humanities—attended the workshop. The event was graced by the presence of Sangam University’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Karun Saxena, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Manas Ranjan Panigrahi, Registrar Dr. Rajeev Mehta, IQAC Director Dr. K.K. Sharma, Dean Prof. Preeti Mehta, and Assistant Professor Dr. Mukesh Kumar Sharma.
During the session, Dr. Ajay Kumar Gupta shared detailed insights about the research projects and grants being carried out by ICSSR across the country in the fields of social sciences and humanities. He emphasized the need to encourage research based on the social environment in semi-urban areas like Bhilwara and explained how useful research on local issues can be conducted with the help of grants.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Karun Saxena assured continuous encouragement for research development at the university. In the concluding session, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Manas Ranjan Panigrahi thanked all the guests and participants, assuring that Sangam University will continue to strengthen its research activities with the collaboration of leading research institutions, benefitting both students and society.
