OYO to Expand Hotel Network in Rajasthan’s Emerging Religious Tourism Circuit
Focus on Khatu Shyam Ji, Salasar, and Ajmer; Travel Agents Meet Held in Jaipur
Jaipur, Global hospitality technology company OYO has announced its plans to expand its presence in Rajasthan’s religious tourism sector, identifying sacred destinations such as Khatu Shyam Ji, Salasar, and Ajmer as part of a new religious tourism circuit. The initiative aims to enhance travelers’ experiences while catering to the rapidly growing demand for religious tourism across India.
The announcement was made during a Travel Agents Meet organized by OYO in Jaipur, which saw the participation of 135 travel agents from key tourism hubs like Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, and Pushkar. At this event, OYO shared its renewed commitment to partnering with the travel industry and unveiled its strategic vision for the state's tourism growth.
As part of this initiative, OYO introduced its premium offerings—Sunday, DanCenter, Clubhouse, and Palette—which will now be made available exclusively to trusted travel partners. These new properties aim to offer a range of experiences, from luxury boutique stays to homely comfort and community-based atmospheres, giving agents more versatile options for their clients.
The event also served as a platform to appreciate the travel agents’ continued efforts in promoting tourism and to showcase OYO’s upcoming offerings tailored specifically for Rajasthan’s tourism ecosystem.
Speaking at the event, Pawas Sharma, Regional Head, OYO, said,
"In recent times, the interest in visiting religious sites in India has grown tremendously, and Rajasthan is home to several significant pilgrimage destinations. We aim to provide pilgrims with comfortable and high-quality accommodation. By strengthening our travel agent network in the state, we hope to deliver the best stay experience for travelers visiting these holy sites."
During the ceremony, OYO also honored top-performing travel agents who have significantly contributed to the company’s success and the growth of tourism in Rajasthan.
OYO emphasized that through new properties, enhanced stay experiences, and innovative initiatives, it will not only continue to boost tourism in Rajasthan, but also play an active role in strengthening the state’s economy.
