Under the banner of Navkar International Institute, a thoughtful and culturally rooted water conservation program was held today, where renowned environmentalist Dr. P.C. Jain from Udaipur led an inspiring workshop. Through a blend of powerful speech and engaging street play, Dr. Jain enlightened the students about the urgency of water conservation and the impending global water crisis.
The event commenced with a traditional Matki Poojan—a symbolic ritual of offering water—and the invocation of Goddess Saraswati. In true Mewari tradition, Dr. Jain was warmly welcomed with a turban and shawl by the institute’s CEO Mr. Abhay Kumar Bafna and Principal Mr. Mohanlal Ji.
In his keynote, Dr. Jain emphasized the importance of collective action and encouraged the youth to drive innovation in water-saving techniques. His address urged students to see water not just as a resource, but as a sacred responsibility.
The formal proceedings were gracefully hosted by Khushi Jain, while Renu Sukhwal introduced the guests. The event’s emotional highlight came through a dramatized performance delivered by students Khushi Kathore, Arpita Porwal, Shabnam Bano, Megh Das, Ramakant Dhakad, Gaurav Ahir, Kaushal Vikas, and Arjun Prajapat, capturing the essence of water conservation in everyday life.
Special support was extended by faculty members Manohar Patidar and Mukesh Kumawat, reinforcing the institute's commitment to environmental causes.
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Pukhraj Ji, President of Navkar International Institute, expressing gratitude to all participants and reaffirming the institute’s dedication to environmental stewardship.
