Udaipur : The Onco Surgery Department of Pacific Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) has achieved a significant milestone by successfully performing over 1500 cancer surgeries in the past five years. To celebrate this achievement, the team cut a cake with great enthusiasm.
The event was attended by PMCH's Executive Director Aman Agarwal, President of Pacific Medical University Dr. M.M. Mangal, PMCH Principal Dr. Umed Singh Parihar, Head of the Surgery Department Dr. H.P. Gupta, and Oncosurgeon Dr. Saurabh Sharma.
Aman Agarwal shared that in the past five years, PMCH has successfully conducted complex surgeries for various types of cancers such as breast cancer, oral cancer, thyroid cancer, gynecological cancers, and more.
Oncosurgeon Dr. Saurabh Sharma credited the entire team’s relentless efforts and commitment to patient care for this achievement. He emphasized that timely and proper treatment of cancer can give patients a new lease of life. He also assured that the team will continue to work with advanced technology and a spirit of humanitarian service.
The event was also attended by Surgery Department Professor Dr. R.K. Paliwal, Gastro-surgeon Dr. Vikesh Joshi, Pediatric and Neonatal Surgeon Dr. Praveen Jhanwar, Anesthesia team, nursing staff, and other healthcare workers, all of whom congratulated the team on this remarkable achievement and wished them continued success.
