A Monument of Valor: Equestrian Statue of Maharana Pratap to Be Installed at Navneet Group of Institutions, Azamgarh

Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh – In a heartfelt gesture of cultural pride and historical reverence, the Navneet Group of Institutions has announced the installation of a grand 12-feet tall, 3100 kg equestrian statue of the legendary warrior Maharana Pratap. The announcement was made by Professor Amarika Singh, Chairman of Navneet Group, who generously agreed to provide the land required for the installation.

The proposal was initiated by the Maharana Pratap Memorial Campaign Committee, which formally requested space on the institution’s premises for this historical tribute. Welcoming the proposal with great enthusiasm, Professor Singh remarked, “It is a privilege for me to contribute to this noble cause. As someone who once served as Vice Chancellor of Mohanlal Sukhadia University in Udaipur—the sacred land of Maharana Pratap—I feel honored to facilitate the preservation of his legacy.”

Chandravir Singh Namana, President of the Maharana Pratap Memorial Campaign Committee, elaborated on the vision behind the project, stating, “Our organization, the Royal Rural Development Institute, in collaboration with the public and with support from Navneet Group of Institutions, aims to install this statue at Bhadhawar, Azamgarh. We seek formal consent in the form of a no-objection or approval letter to move forward.”

He further emphasized that Maharana Pratap is not just a historical figure, but a symbol of unwavering courage, self-respect, and unity—qualities that resonate with every Indian. The installation of his statue is expected to instill inspiration and a sense of unity across different sections of society.

Professor Singh concluded by stating that Navneet Group is proud to play an active role in conserving this cultural heritage. The statue will also serve as a bridge for the youth, connecting them with stories of valor and sacrifice from India’s glorious past.

The announcement has stirred a wave of appreciation within the local community. Residents have welcomed the decision with joy, expressing the need for more such initiatives that celebrate and sustain cultural values.

The official date and details of the statue installation ceremony will soon be shared through local media channels. The statue of Maharana Pratap will not only stand as a monument of heroism but also as a guiding light for generations to come.
