This initiative underlines the state's commitment to sustainable groundwater conservation and rural water independence.

Reclaiming Every Drop: What the Campaign Will Do
The activities planned under MJSA 2.2 are not just infrastructural—they are transformational. From rejuvenating ponds, constructing check dams and percolation tanks, to rooftop water harvesting and watershed management, the campaign aims to recharge groundwater, boost irrigation for agriculture, and build resilience in the face of climate uncertainty.

Additionally, stream rejuvenation, farm ponds, and plantation drives are being included as integral parts of this multi-dimensional approach. The vision is clear: every village, every household should be water secure, self-reliant, and climate-ready.

A Model for Rural India
With an inclusive design and scientific execution, Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan is emerging as a benchmark in community-led water conservation. The second phase is not just an upgrade; it's a promise—of green fields, full wells, and a future where jal hi jeevan hai (water is life) is more than a slogan; it’s a lived reality in every corner of Udaipur.
