District Collector Namit Mehta arrived in Kherwada on Wednesday afternoon and directed the officials during the meeting that the aim of the Aspirational Block program is to bring selected blocks into the mainstream of integrated development through various dimensions. He emphasized that progress should be ensured based on various parameters for each department, and that updated information should be regularly uploaded to the portal to improve the district's ranking. The meeting also reviewed various parameters related to the development of the Aspirational Block.

During the meeting, Collector Mehta instructed that widespread awareness about institutional deliveries be spread, and weekly campaigns be organized to bring about changes at the grassroots level.

He reviewed the condition of anganwadi centers in the block and directed that approval for toilet construction be issued for the anganwadis where it is pending, and that construction should be completed soon. The Collector also inquired about the availability of BharatNet in the village panchayats and asked the telecommunications department to be informed of any issues hindering BharatNet implementation. He also referenced complaints received during sub-division level public hearings and instructed the concerned departments to ensure "timely and effective resolution" of these issues.
