Emotional Dialogue Between Husband and Lover Stirs Emotions

Udaipur: On the occasion of World Theatre Day, the Western Region Cultural Centre Udaipur presented a short play titled *Maranoparant* (Posthumous) at Shilpgram's Darpan Auditorium on Thursday, March 27. The play, written by Surendra Verma and directed by Shivraj Sonwal, captivated the audience with the stellar performances of the cast.

Furkan Khan, Director of the Western Region Cultural Centre Udaipur, shared that the play was organized by the Fundamental Organization of Creative and Performing Arts. The play revolves around the intense emotional dialogues between a husband and his wife’s lover, post her untimely death in an accident. The husband discovers, through a memento found in his wife’s purse, that she was having an affair. The intense conversations between the two men evoke powerful emotions as they confront their feelings and realizations about the late woman.

The play beautifully illustrates the unspoken truths and regrets in relationships, with both men coming to terms with the past. Amit Vyas played the role of the husband, while Jatin Bhardwaj portrayed the lover. The audience deeply appreciated the thought-provoking nature of the play and the acting performances.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Pawan Amarawat (Deputy Director), Durgesh Chandwani (Assistant Director - Finance & Accounts), C.L. Salvi, and Siddhant Bhatnagar. In the end, all the actors were honored for their performance. The event was hosted by Durgesh Chandwani.
