Sangam University’s 11th Convocation Ceremony Concludes
Gold Medalists Celebrate Their Achievement, Girls Outshine Boys
Bhilwara, The 11th convocation ceremony of Sangam University was held with grandeur, witnessing 661 students receiving their degrees in an unforgettable moment. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Rampal Soni, Chairman, Sangam Group, with Prof. Shailendra Saraf, Director, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Ahmedabad, as the chief guest. Distinguished guests included Prof. Pradeep Kumar Joshi, former UPSC Chairman and Chairman of the National Testing Agency, New Delhi, and Prof. P.K. Singh, Director, IIM Trichy.

Prof. Karunesh Saxena, Vice Chancellor of the university, shared that 41 Ph.D. degrees and 27 gold medals were awarded to top-performing students, along with undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Registrar Prof. Rajeev Mehta administered the oath of truth, integrity, and honesty to the students. The Vice Chancellor presented the university’s annual report, highlighting achievements in academics, research, sports, NCC, NSS, and other fields.
Chief Guest Prof. Shailendra Saraf and Prof. Pradeep Kumar Joshi extended their best wishes to the graduates. In his convocation speech, Prof. Joshi emphasized the need for young professionals to adapt to evolving technologies and discussed the impact of New IT innovations and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
In his presidential address, Mr. Rampal Soni advised students to embrace technological advancements while staying true to their core values. He also appreciated the efforts of the Sangam University team for organizing a successful event.
The ceremony also featured the release of IDP, Compendium, Sangam Utkarsh, Pratibimb, and Eloquent by the dignitaries. Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Manas Ranjan Panigrahi extended a vote of thanks to the attendees. Prominent attendees included Dr. S.N. Modani, Vice Chairman, Sangam Group; Anurag Soni, Managing Director; and V.K. Sodani, Executive Director.
Prof. Jag Bhushan Sharma, Controller of Examinations, highlighted the introduction of advanced digital security features in this year’s degrees. The event was anchored by Dr. Seema Kabra and Dr. Anurag Sharma, while Dr. Rajkumar Jain, Public Relations Officer, shared that the guests were welcomed with an NCC Guard of Honor and a formal procession to the venue. Prof. Vinesh Agarwal, event coordinator, expressed gratitude to the organizing team.
Notably, this year, female students outperformed their male counterparts in securing gold medals.
