Bankers’ Orientation Workshop Concludes in Udaipur
Udaipur – A one-day district-level Bankers' Orientation Workshop was organized by the District Project Management Unit, Rajeevika under the Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department, with guidance from District Collector Namit Mehta and Zila Parishad CEO Ria Dabi at RTDC Kajri.
District Project Manager Khyalilal Khatik highlighted the project's objective of providing bank loans to self-help groups (SHGs) to enhance women’s livelihoods. Lead District Bank Manager Rajesh Jain emphasized the need for collective bank efforts to provide financial support to SHGs. Presentations were given by District Managers Shubham Soni on financial inclusion and Ashok Kumar Sen on SHG-led activities. Banks assured increased loan distribution to SHGs.
During the workshop, outstanding staff and bank branch managers were felicitated, and discussions focused on enhancing loan distribution. Additional Director of Animal Husbandry Sharad Arora, LDM Praveen Singh Bhati, NABARD DDM Neeraj Yadav, and Assistant Director Agriculture (Extension) Shyamlal Salvi provided insights into departmental schemes to benefit SHGs through mutual collaboration.
The event saw participation from 90 attendees, including bank managers, district-level officers, BPMs, MIS staff, and Rajeevika officials.
