Swiggy Instamart Partners with Gurugram Police to Raise Awareness on Cyber Fraud
Gurugram, February 25, 2025: In a bid to combat cyber fraud, Swiggy Instamart, India’s pioneering on-demand convenience platform, has partnered with the Gurugram Police to raise awareness about online scams. As more Indians turn to the internet for everyday activities, from ordering groceries to financial transactions, scammers are finding new ways to exploit users. Awareness is the first line of defence against such threats.
To help, the Gurugram Police and Swiggy Instamart have created pamphlets on five major types of cyber fraud—fake customer care scams, impersonation fraud, job scams, investment fraud, and UPI/QR code scams. These will be included with thousands of Swiggy Instamart orders in Gurugram.

The pamphlets will outline scam methods, preventive measures, and helplines for reporting suspicious activity. Through its delivery network, Swiggy Instamart aims to reach as many people as possible and enhance online safety for its customers.
