Lakecity : The Sahitya Mandal in Nathdwara successfully concluded its two-day Brajbhasha festival, dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the Brajbhasha language and culture. Mrs. Priyanka Rathore, Secretary and Administrative Officer of the Rajasthan Brajbhasha Academy in Jaipur, graced the event as the chief guest. She emphasized the importance of nurturing Brajbhasha and lauded the Sahitya Mandal's significant efforts in this endeavor.
Vijay Baba, the principal head of the Braj Vallabh sect from Kota, praised the Sahitya Mandal for establishing a unique identity through its exemplary work. Humorist Dr. Arvind Tiwari highlighted that with the arrival of Shrinathji, Nathdwara transformed into a spiritual Vrindavan, and the inception of the Sahitya Mandal further enriched the town's cultural and literary heritage.
The festival honored various literati, including Govind Sen from Dhar, Madhya Pradesh; Dr. Shikha Rani Agrawal from Noida, Uttar Pradesh; Shri Shrinath Maurya Saras from Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh; and Shri Sakar Falak Srivastava from Jaipur, bestowing upon them the title of 'Hindi Sahitya Manishi'. Additionally, Dr. Jatin Sharma from Delhi received the 'Sangeet Ratna' honor, and Dr. Manjulata Bhatt from Jaipur was recognized as a 'Sangeet Kala Marmagya'.
During the event, books titled "Khele Hori Masane Mein," "Bal Paheliyan," and "Man Murali Ghanshyam Ki" were unveiled. The festival also featured a Brajbhasha poets' conference, where poets captivated the audience with their compositions.
The program was conducted by the institution's Prime Minister, Shri Shyam Prakash Devpura, with literary introductions presented by Shri Hari Om Hari and Dr. Anjeev Anjum.
The festival commenced with a Saraswati Vandana by poet Hari Om Hari from Bharatpur, followed by a Shrinath Vandana by Dr. Anjeev Rawat from Raya, and a Rasya and Krishna Vandana by Dr. Aansvana Saxena from Agra.
Throughout the event, the pivotal role of the Sahitya Mandal in preserving Brajbhasha and its culture was acknowledged and commended.
