Gopal Mehta Promoted to Divisional Commissioner of Hindustan Scouts and Guides

Udaipur: Gopal Mehta Menaria, a physical education teacher at Rau Pravi Gandoli in the Mavli block of Udaipur district, has been promoted to the position of Divisional Commissioner of Hindustan Scouts and Guides, Udaipur. 

The promotion was granted through a 'Warrant of Honor' (appointment certificate), jointly signed by the Secretary of School Education of Rajasthan Government, Krishna Kunal, and the State Chief Commissioner of Hindustan Scouts and Guides, Narendra Audichya. Prior to his promotion to the Divisional Commissioner position, Mehta was serving as the Divisional Headquarters Commissioner (Public Relations) at the Udaipur Divisional Headquarters.

On Tuesday, during the ongoing seven-day training camp for scout teachers at the Madar Training Center, state secretary Narendra Audichya, state organization commissioner Ripudaman Gill, assistant state organization commissioner Pradeep Meghwal, district organizer Shanta Vaishnav, and district vice president Narendra Singh Ranawat honored Mehta with the 'Warrant of Honor'. 

State Secretary Narendra Audichya stated that Mehta was promoted thrice in one year based on his work capacity, efficiency, dedication, and commitment to the organization, with recommendations from both the district and state executive committees. 

State Organization Commissioner R.D. Gill mentioned that Mehta was first promoted in February of the previous year to District Headquarters Commissioner (Public Relations), followed by his appointment in May as the Divisional Headquarters Commissioner (Public Relations), and finally to Divisional Commissioner on February 11th. His appointment is valid from February 11th to December 31st, 2026.

Assistant State Organization Commissioner Pradeep Meghwal added that Mehta had recently attended the National Rashtriya Katha Camp in Rajkot, Gujarat, as the district in-charge for the Udaipur district team. Additionally, Mehta was honored by the Education Minister, Madan Dilawar, at a state-level Ranger Rover Moot Meet and Oath-taking ceremony for reaching new heights in scout activities.

Following the promotion, district president Girish Bharti, Udaipur divisional secretary Madanlal Verma, divisional headquarters commissioner (Public Relations) Gauri Kant Sharma, Udaipur district vice president Ashok Paliwal, district co-secretary Uday Singh Gurjar, district joint secretary Ishwari, Regar, Tulsi Chadat, and many other members from the divisional and district executive committees congratulated Mehta and wished him success.
