Tribal Minister Honors National Lacrosse Medalists and Coaches

Udaipur: The Tribal Development Minister, Babulal Kharadi, felicitated the gold medal-winning players and their coach from the recently concluded 2nd National Sub-Junior and Senior Lacrosse Championship in Udaipur at his residence. Coach Neeraj Batra shared that most of the players in the Rajasthan team are from the tribal regions of Udaipur. 

Minister Babulal Kharadi congratulated all the players and organizers for the successful event and assured them that the government would provide all possible facilities to promote lacrosse and its players. Batra mentioned that Rajasthan had an exceptional performance in the Olympic sport of lacrosse, winning gold medals in both the men’s and women’s categories at the National Senior Championship. The women's team, equipped with international players and Federation Cup champions, secured the first position in the national competition for the second consecutive year. The Rajasthan men's team, also winners of the Federation Cup, retained their dominance by clinching the gold in the national competition. Both the boys' and girls' sub-junior teams secured silver medals.

On this occasion, social workers Mahesh Katara, Banshilal Damor, Pannalal Kumawat, Manidevi Meghwal, Harvatan Damor, along with other dignitaries, Rajasthan women’s team captain Sunita Meena, men’s team captain Mohanlal Gameti, medal-winning players, and a large number of sports enthusiasts were present.
