Grand Inauguration of "Quirth - 2025" at Vikrant University

Gwalior: The intramural sports and cultural annual program "Quirth - 2025" of Vikrant University, Gwalior, was inaugurated with great enthusiasm. The chief guest for the opening ceremony was Dr. C.P. Singh Bhati, Professor and Head of the Department of Yoga Science, Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), Gwalior. Prof. M.K. Singh, Professor of Sports Psychology and Controller of Examinations at LNIPE, Gwalior, was present as the guest of honor.
Chancellor Mr. Rakesh Singh Rathore emphasized the university's commitment to education, sports, and cultural activities in his inaugural address. He stated, "Vikrant University plays a vital role in the physical, mental, and cultural development of students, and such events are an integral part of our education policy."
Vice Chancellor Prof. Amerika Singh highlighted that under the new education policy, organizing sports and cultural activities would be a priority. He mentioned that the university has planned various initiatives to ensure the holistic development of students.
Registrar Richa Verma expressed her enthusiasm, stating that "Quirth - 2025" would be a source of motivation for students, fostering discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P.S. Chauhan described the event as historic and reaffirmed his commitment to its success.
Program Coordinator Prof. Anand Singh assured that all faculty members were dedicated to making the event memorable for students.
Director of Physical Education and Sports, Dr. Kuldeep Singh Jhala, provided details of the sports competitions, which include cricket, kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, chess, badminton, athletics, tug-of-war, and cycling races.
Deputy Registrar K.D. Pathak successfully conducted the inaugural ceremony. The event was attended by faculty members including Jitendra Yadav, Dr. Veer Narayan, Prof. Sandeep Tiwari, Prof. Nitin Agarwal, Dilip Singh Rajput, Prof. Nishant Kushwaha, Alka Yadav, Nagendra Yadav, Vikram Singh Tomar, Hariom Singh Rajawat, Yashvardhan Tiwari, Narendra Sharma, and others.
With the grand launch of "Quirth - 2025", Vikrant University has set the stage for an exciting platform for students to engage in sports, entertainment, and cultural activities.
