Deepening Meditation Through a Disciplined Life and Sattvic Diet – Sadhvi Dev Vani

Udaipur: In the second session of the HOPE workshop organized by the Heartfulness Meditation Institute, the Spotlight Session featured a spiritual discourse by Sadhvi Dev Vani from Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar. She emphasized that achieving depth in meditation requires maintaining a healthy body, as the physical body (Annamaya Kosha) plays a crucial role in spiritual practices. She stated that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind, and both the mind and body influence each other. Through meditation, one can attain greater depth in spiritual practice.

Highlighting the importance of diet and self-discipline, she advised that consuming a Sattvic diet and leading a disciplined life significantly enhances meditation. She also elaborated on the importance of fasting in spiritual practice and discussed challenges that arise during meditation. According to her, discipline in mind, speech, and actions is essential for achieving spiritual depth.
