Udaipur, To foster creativity and innovation among young scientists, a three-day district-level INSPIRE Award MANAK Exhibition (DLEPC 2023-24) concluded today at Bal Shiksha Sadan Higher Secondary School, Udaipur. A total of 204 child scientists presented their innovative models in the competition.
After a thorough evaluation by the jury panel—Mukesh Parakh, Manoj Kumar Pathak, Garima Chaudhary, and Parul Singh—the 20 best models were selected for the state-level competition based on various criteria. The selected students will update their models while maintaining their original themes and will participate in the upcoming INSPIRE Award MANAK State-Level Exhibition.
The closing ceremony was presided over by Dr. Lokesh Bharti, District Education Officer (Secondary Headquarters), with Garima Chaudhary from Delhi as the chief guest. In his address, Dr. Bharti emphasized the need for vigilance in research and innovation, especially in the era of artificial intelligence, where every new discovery has the potential for misuse. He stressed that scientific expectations should align with both national progress and humanitarian needs. He further highlighted the importance of logical reasoning in decision-making to bridge the generation gap.

Hackathon 2025 Awards
A Hackathon-2025 was organized under the guidance of Kailash Rawal from the School Enterprise Association. The event saw participation from 60 students from both government and private schools. Participants developed innovative scientific solutions related to global warming, road accidents, and assistive technology for differently-abled individuals.
The hackathon, lasting six hours, comprised three stages—problem definition, brainstorming & idea development, and prototype creation.

Future Initiatives in Scientific Innovation
Kailash Rawal highlighted efforts to encourage scientific innovation in government schools. He announced a competition inviting models in 10 categories, including agriculture, women’s safety, worker safety, and energy conservation. The top 10 child scientists will receive a total incentive of ₹40,000 in three phases:
₹10,000 for idea selection
₹15,000 for model creation
₹15,000 for market-ready development
The event concluded with the felicitation of principals, teachers, and jury members for their remarkable contributions to the INSPIRE Award program.
