Udaipur: On Thursday, District Collector Namit Mehta visited Mavli and Vallabhnagar sub-divisions of the district. During the visit, he inspected the Farmers' Registration Camp organized under the AgriStake scheme at the Bhimal Panchayat Headquarters in the Mavli Panchayat Samiti. He reviewed the arrangements at the camp, checked the e-KYC and land verification details of the beneficiaries, and provided necessary directions. The Collector interacted with the staff to understand the working process and also gathered feedback from the farmers present at the camp. District Council CEO Riya Dabi, Mavli SDM Ramesh Seervi, Tehsildar Bhawarlal Meena, BDO Shailendra Kinchi, along with local representatives and villagers, were present.
**Meeting with Sub-Divisional Officers in Mavli and Vallabhnagar**
During the tour, the Collector held meetings with sub-divisional officers of various departments at the Panchayat Samiti halls in Mavli and Vallabhnagar, emphasizing the effective implementation of state government schemes. He also reviewed the progress of these schemes. He instructed the officers to ensure quality and timely resolution of cases through the Contact Portal. While discussing various departmental schemes, he sought updates from the medical department on the progress of e-KYC under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, directed them to provide better healthcare facilities, and ensure rural beneficiaries benefit from government health services. The Collector also inspected the Ghassa PHC building and instructed the PWD to prepare a proposal for repairs.
In discussions with the Animal Husbandry Department officials, he stressed the importance of reaching out to livestock farmers about the Mangla Animal Insurance Scheme and extending its benefits to more farmers. The Collector also discussed the electric supply issues with the Electricity Department, directing them to ensure adequate power supply for agricultural connections in the region, and interacted with the Public Health Engineering Department about the progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission, ensuring timely water supply and meeting local water needs.
**Inspection of Mavli Sub-District Hospital**
During the visit, Collector Mehta also inspected the Mavli Sub-District Hospital. He reviewed various sections of the hospital and instructed improvements for better health facilities in the region. He examined the registration counter, free medicine, free testing, and other services, and provided necessary directions.
