AERO INDIA 2025 : SETTTING THE BENCHMARK FOR FUTURE AEROSPACE EXHIBITIONS
Jaipur: The 15th edition of Asia's largest Air Show 'Aero India' is being held from 10 to 14 February 2025 at Air Force Station, Yelahanka, Bengaluru in Karnataka.
The five-day exhibition has seen a number of innovative measures being taken to ensure a great experience for the visitors, public and delegates. With major infrastructure upgrades and improved facilities, this edition is being made bigger, more accessible and more convenient than ever before.
Recognizing the past challenges at the exhibition, extensive improvements are being made to facilitate smooth entry, movement and connectivity. Close coordination is being carried out between the Ministry of Defence, Indian Air Force, various branches of the Karnataka State Government such as Bengaluru Traffic Police, BBMP, NHAI and Namma Metro. Red drone zones have been identified with countermeasures to deal with unauthorized drone activity. Rapid Mobile Units will be strategically deployed to provide quick and emergency assistance. Better ventilated exhibition halls, additional food courts including Indira Canteen, refreshment kiosks have been arranged for the comfort of exhibitors and the public. Better directional boards, ATM kiosks, drinking water facilities and medical aid posts have also been set up for easy navigation.
In addition, to ensure the safety of all attendees, a multi-layered security system has been deployed in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Bengaluru Police, CISF and intelligence agencies. It also focuses on measures such as 24/7 CCTV surveillance for enhanced security protocols, dedicated screening zones for the public and visitors, disaster management as well as fire safety committees to deal with emergencies.
All telecom service providers are deploying temporary mobile towers and network boosters for seamless communication and connectivity. The Aero India 2025 mobile app has also been launched which will provide live updates, navigation assistance and event scheduling.
Aero India provides a platform for collaboration and hosts roundtable meetings to facilitate B2B, G2B interactions and showcase technological advancements. Special focus will be given to supporting startups and MSMEs by providing them a global platform to present indigenous innovations.
With these multi-agency collaborations, Aero India 2025 is set to be one of the most streamlined and better organised editions ever. Active collaboration between the central and state government agencies will ensure that Aero India 2025 sets the standard for all future aerospace exhibitions.
