A ceremony was held on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Talmandi, Kota, organized jointly by the Culture, Literature, Media Forum Kota, Samaras Sansthan Sahitya Srijan Bharat Gandhinagar Gujarat's Kota unit, and Keser Kavya Manch. Senior litterateur and journalist Purushottam Pancholi was honored, and the winners of the state-level essay and poetry competition on the theme of "Shringar" were awarded. The "Anunad E-Bulletin" was also launched during the event.
Purushottam Pancholi will be honored with the prestigious "Two Media Award 25" for his creative journalism contributions. The award will be presented at the 24th International Hindi Conference, scheduled to take place from February 15 to 25 in Kathmandu, Nepal. This event was organized in his honor in anticipation of the award.
During the ceremony, representatives of various organizations and prominent personalities, including Rekha Pancholi, President of Aryan Lekhika Manch, Jitendra Nirmohee, Prize Secretary of Gyan Bharti Kota, Advocate Akhtar Khan Akela, Founder of Human Welfare Society Kota, Snehlata Sharma, President of Rangitika Sahitya Sangeet Sanstha, Rameshwar Sharma 'Ramu Bhaiya', President of All India Sahitya Parishad Chittor Prant Kota Unit, Yogendra Sharma, Chairman of Shishu Bharti Shiksha Group, and K.L. Jain, Patron of Greater Press Club Kota, honored Pancholi with tilak, garlands, and shawls. They also presented a collective honor letter.
Speaking at the event, Purushottam Pancholi said that events like these promote literature and journalism, and being honored among loved ones means more to him than any global recognition. The chief speaker, fiction writer and critic Vijay Joshi, highlighted Pancholi's personality and contributions, while several other dignitaries, including Rameshwar Sharma, Jitendra Nirmohee, Yogendra Sharma, Dr. Preeti Meena, Atul Chaturvedi, Dhirendra Rahul, and Dr. Sudhir Gupta, shared their thoughts and memories, emphasizing Pancholi's remarkable contributions to literature and journalism.
Literary figure Dr. Krishna Kumari recited a poem based on the theme of "Shringar". Dr. Shashi Jain, National President of Samaras Sansthan, expressed gratitude and shared information about the institute's activities. The event concluded with a tribute to Goddess Saraswati, followed by a Saraswati Vandana presented by Shashi Jain.
Prominent authors and journalists from across the country, including Dinesh Kumar Mali from Talcher Odisha, Rajendra Kedia from Kolkata, Dr. Mukesh Kumar Vyas 'Snehil' from Gandhinagar Gujarat, Gopal Prabhakar and Prabhat Goswami from Jaipur, Manju Chaturvedi and Dr. Jyoti Punj from Udaipur, and senior journalist Virendra Kumar Shrivastava, sent their congratulatory messages, adding a national dimension to the program. Local journalists, writers, painters, lawyers, doctors, educators, and distinguished citizens from Kota also sent their best wishes for Pancholi’s recognition.
