Collector Holds District-Level Monitoring and Review Committee Meeting
Udaipur: A district-level monitoring and review committee meeting of The Udaipur Central Cooperative Bank was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Bank Administrator and District Collector, Arvind Kumar Poswal. The bank's Managing Director, Animesh Purohit, informed that the achievements for the financial year 2024-25, in line with the targets set by the Rajasthan State Cooperative Bank Ltd. Jaipur under the Development-Oriented Action Plan (D.A.P.), were discussed for the quarter ending December 2024.
During the meeting, the bank administrator reviewed the progress of the bank in detail. The Managing Director shared updates, including an increase of ₹37.45 lakh in the bank’s share capital, ₹604.89 lakh in deposits, ₹38.82 crore in loan disbursal, ₹48.75 crore in outstanding loans, and ₹54.11 crore in working capital. He also provided detailed information about the Gopal Credit Card Loan Scheme, as part of the state government's budget announcement, and the long-term agricultural/non-agricultural loan interest subsidy scheme.
Regarding the Government of India's ambitious PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Societies) Computerization Scheme, the Managing Director stated that out of the target of computerizing 360 PACS-LAMPS under the bank's jurisdiction in Udaipur, Salumber, Rajsamand, and Dungarpur (Pratapgarh), 261 PACS/LAMPS had been successfully computerized.
The Collector instructed that all targets allocated under the annual action plan be completed 100% and emphasized spreading awareness of the state government’s budget announcements for 2024-25 to benefit as many eligible farmers/members as possible. The computerization of PACS should be completed on a priority basis.
The meeting was attended by Additional Registrar, Cooperative Societies Udaipur Division, Mrs. Gunjan Choubey, Regional Manager of the top cooperative bank, Anil Khatik, Chief Manager of the Central Cooperative Bank, K.L. Sharma, Senior Manager Vaibhav Gaud, and Manager (Accounts) Hitesh Kumar Panchal.
