Responsibility of All to Ensure Clean Rajasthan: K.K. Gupta
On Saturday morning, K.K. Gupta, State Coordinator of the Swachh Bharat Mission, held a sanitation awareness workshop at the District Collectorate Meeting Hall in Beawar. The meeting was attended by Beawar district administration officers, municipal officials, and representatives of all Panchayat Samitis.
Gupta stated that the Swachh Bharat Mission was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014, and after 10 years, people are now experiencing the benefits of the campaign. He emphasized the importance of fulfilling the Clean Rajasthan commitment made by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and called on all officials to work together in this endeavor.
He highlighted the need for plastic collection, biogas plants, waste segregation, beautification of cremation grounds, and water conservation in ponds. He also stressed the immediate cessation of burning waste, which pollutes the environment and groundwater.
Gupta mentioned that under his leadership, sanitation work is being carried out in Kithana, Jhunjhunu, and other regions, where several villages have achieved excellence. He urged everyone to join hands in making the district clean, beautiful, and green.
