SPSU celebrates the 76th Republic Day with Patriotic Fervour and Pride
Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, commemorated the 76th Republic Day with unmatched enthusiasm, showcasing the true spirit of patriotism and unity. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and President, Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi Yadav, unfurled the flag and paid tribute to the nation's revered leaders. He highlighted how SPSU empowers its students with knowledge, skills, and values, preparing them to excel in their careers and actively contribute to nation-building. The SPSU student teams who stood first and won the prize money of One lac Rupees in the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) Grand Finale hosted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India received a special appreciation on this day. The faculty mentors: Dr. Chandani Joshi, Mr. Harsh Bansal and Dr. Anand Bhaskar were also commended.
The NCC cadets of the University led by Lt. Dr. DS Chouhan Associate NCC officer venerated the occasion by marching through the campus while saluting the national flag and instilling patriotic fervour. The Unity in Motion, Strength in Stride 5 km run drew enthusiastic participation from faculty and students, symbolizing collective strength and perseverance.
The NCC Cell organised a thought-provoking poster exhibition presenting themes such as sustainability, patriotism, women empowerment and many others. Additionally, the Spotlight Club captivated everyone with heartfelt patriotic songs and dynamic dance performances, enhancing the event’s nationalistic ambiance and nurturing a profound sense of unity.
The event was seamlessly coordinated by Dr. Sadananda Prusty, Proctor and Dean of the School of Management. The Campus Director Lt. Col. Neeraj Kumar, Eminent Guest Dr. Ram Bhuj, Registrar, Deans, Deputy Deans, faculty members, administrative staff, students, and entire SPSU fraternity participated actively in the celebration.
